RARARES GALLERY'S INAUGURAL EXHIBITION IN HONG KONG
RARARES Gallery is making its Asian debut at the 2025 Art Central Fair, a cornerstone event of Hong Kong Art Week. Located at Hong Kong's iconic Central Harbourfront, Fish Market, an installation curated by the talented Marina Baisel, draws a compelling parallel between the cultural vibrancy of everyday life and the dynamic evolution of contemporary art. The exhibited works highlight the challenges faced by emerging artists in a global art scene teeming with competition and fresh creative forces from new artistic hubs.
In installation Fish Market, star residents of the RARARES emerging artist portfolio, united by the belief in art’s transformative power. The curator brings an ecologically conscious perspective to contemporary design, merging natural materials with modern aesthetics. Mathias “MA$ARATI” Hagen channels Norwegian street art and vibrant abstractions into paintings that pulse with energy. Maria Koshenkova crafts striking glass sculptures that bridge the delicate and the bold, blending centuries-old techniques with inventive, modern forms. Natalie Katwal, drawing on her background in couture, creates thoughtful porcelain and textile works that find poetry in ordinary moments.
