In The Wake Of Time
DIFC Sculpture Park 2025
RARARES Gallery is thrilled to present ‘In the Wake of Time’, an exhibition that explores the relationship between memory, identity, and temporality through contemporary sculptural practice. Bringing together three artists working across different material and cultural frameworks, the exhibition considers how sculptural form can register traces of lived experience, articulate shifting states of being, and situate the human subject within broader temporal and spatial continuums. Installed within the DIFC Sculpture Park, the project engages the site as an active context in which scale, environment, and movement shape the viewer’s encounter with the works.

The exhibition features:

Evelyne Brader-Frank (Switzerland) is a Swiss-Canadian sculptor whose reduced, abstracted forms in stone, bronze, and steel distill the sensuous contours of the human body into concise, curvilinear archetypes. Her practice is defined by an extreme formal reduction through which movement, transformation, and the vitality of the female figure are expressed with clarity and restraint;

Salim Abdullah Al Kaabi (UAE) is an Emirati multidisciplinary artist whose practice integrates material experimentation with ecological and technological inquiry, engaging themes of regional identity and environmental awareness. Working with eco-sensitive processes, light-reactive surfaces, and chemically transformative materials, he bridges artistic and scientific methodologies to examine the interplay between memory, matter, and the natural world;

Natalie Katwal (Germany) is a Russian visual artist whose practice integrates elements of functional sculpture, photography, and video to explore emotional and psychological dimensions of human experience. Drawing on her background in fashion design, her practice investigates perception, memory, and subconscious motives, producing structured compositions that articulate the stratification of introspection and the interplay between form, function, and narrative.

Exhibition Dates: 25 November 2025 – 31 May 2026
